The Bowen Group has an outstanding opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a full-time position in Washington, DC. Level up in your career and support the military community at The Bowen Group.

    What you'll be doing at The Bowen Group

    • Imagery, inforgraphics and graphics
    • Badge and icon support
    • Photos and copyright processing
    • Photo research
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to generate ideas and determine the best visual communication strategy and solution for a variety of print and web-based products
    • Ensure that all deliverables adhere to established policy and style guides
    • Interpret and implement rounds of revisions
    • Seek out and optimize appropriate imagery for an assortment of print and electronic publications and applications
    • Coordinate with approved printing vendors; define print parameters: including paper and ink selection and review printer proofs
    • Contribute to evolving team process
    • Other duties as requested

    What's a good fit

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years of digital graphic design experience including designing mood boards and mockups of Government websites
    • Practical and collaborative experience in the design and production of print and interactive solutions
    • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks effectively in a deadline-oriented environment
    • Highly organized, self-motivated and accountable
    • Ability to work independently as well as with direction 
    • Demonstrated skill and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Microsoft Suite
    • CSS and HTML knowledge
    • Knowledge of 508 compliance a plus
    • MAC literacy a plus
    • MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to successfully pass a background check
    • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
