The Bowen Group has an outstanding opportunity for a Content Specialist/Writer to join our team. This is a full-time position in Washington, DC. Level up in your career and support the military community at The Bowen Group.

    What you'll be doing at The Bowen Group

     

    • Write and edit new content
    • Review and modify content
    • Creates and develops content for websites and applications, epublications and print/online collateral products (brochures, posters, booklets, fliers,  etc.)
    • Maintains a consistent style and format across content development projects
    • Works cooperatively with functional team members, including graphic designers, editors, ISDs and other key staff on products and services
    • Other duties as requested

    What's a good fit

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Plain Language training
    • 5 to 10 years of writing and editing experience in the health and wellness arena
    • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
    • Familiarity with AP Style Guide
    • Ability to work independently
    • Must be able to pass a federal background check
    • PC literacy required; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
    • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
