The Bowen Group has an outstanding opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position in Stafford, VA, where the Human Resources Manager will guide and manage the overall function of human resources services, policies, and programs. Additionally, the position will ensure all compliance obligations are met on schedule, while working with employees as well as Senior Leadership.     What you'll be doing at The Bowen Group

    • Recruiting and staffing
    • Organizational departmental planning
    • Performance management and improvement systems
    • Ennsuring regulatory compliance with all employee-related federal and state regulations
    • Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment and training
    • Policy development and documentation
    • Employee relations
    • Company-wide event planning
    • Company, employee and community communication
    • Compensation and benefits administration
    • 401(k) administrator
    • FMLA administration
    • EEO/AAP/ADA compliance
    • Oversee payroll operation
    • Other duties as requested

    What's a good fit

    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in human resources or other related field
    • 5 years of human resources generalist experience, SHRM/HRCI human resources certification
    • Experience with ICIMS, applicant tracking system
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to exercise good judgment and demonstrate analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to practice a high level of confidentiality
    • In depth knowledge of human resource laws and regulations
    • Experience in the administration of benefit programs
    • Ability to successfully pass a background check
    • PC literacy; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
    • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
