The Bowen Group has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position in Falls Church, VA, where the Program Manager will provide support and direction for the health and wellness of our active force and their families. Additionally, the position will ensure all contract obligations are met on schedule and perform all contract functions in accordance with the approved Program Management Plan, while working with multiple government managers.     What you'll be doing at The Bowen Group

    • Provide contract execution oversight
    • Submitting, revising, and executing a Program Management Plan as approved by the government
    • Tracking major project task implementation and completion
    • Attending monthly meetings, providing monthly reports, and monitoring Quality Control Plan and Contingency Operations Plan requirements
    • Preparing reports to satisfy company policies and government contractual mandates, to include monthly and quarterly activity reports (deliverables and/or services rendered), funding execution and projections to include labor and other direct costs, and interim progress review reports
    • Effectively communicating (orally and written) expectations and resources required to achieve program goals and execution; engaging the contracting office and representatives as needed
    • Proactively engaging with clients to ensure needs are met

    What's a good fit

    • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree desired
    • PMP Certification preferred
    • Department of Defense Program Management experience highly preferred
    • 8-10 years of Program Management experience
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with proven experience in managing multiple complex projects, tasks and missions
    • Ability to work with multiple government managers and other contract leaders
    • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
    • Ability to successfully pass a background check
    • PC literacy; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
    • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
