  • Overview

    The Bowen Group, a values-led, industry leader in telehealth, health communications, and wellness services and staffing is searching for a Graphic Designer.  This is a full-time position located in Stafford, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to generate ideas and determine the best visual communication strategy and solution for a variety of print and web-based products
    • Ensure that all deliverables adhere to established policy and style guides
    • Interpret and implement rounds of revisions
    • Seek out and optimize appropriate imagery for an assortment of print and electronic publications and applications
    • Coordinate with approved printing vendors; define print parameters: including paper and ink selection and review printer proofs
    • Contribute to evolving team process
    • Other duties as requested

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
    • Portfolio comprised of creative and well executed concepts that exhibit a strong sense of layout and typography
    • Practical and collaborative experience in the design and production of print and interactive solutions
    • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks effectively in a deadline-oriented environment, keeping pace with a blended local and virtual team of project managers, writers, technical developers, social media specialists, and designers
    • Highly organized, self-motivated and accountable
    • Ability to work independently as well as with direction from lead designer and supervisor
    • Demonstrated skill and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Microsoft Suite
    • CSS and HTML knowledge
    • Knowledge of 508 compliance a plus
    • MAC literacy required
    • MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to successfully pass a background check
    • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
