Overview

The Bowen Group is an industry leader in the provision of wellness services to the military and veteran communities. We are searching for searching for a Capture Manager/Proposal Manager. This is a full-time position located in Stafford, VA. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide Connectivity between business development and proposal support
  • Review and appraise opportunities
  • Develop opportunity pipeline, providing recommendations on teaming
  • Develop relationships with other companies to provide win-win business opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver innovative company presentations
  • Develop teaming documentation
  • Continuously refine company presentations and be proficient at presenting those capabilities to a broad audience
  • Manage proposal workflow to include scheduling solution sessions, assigning tasks and meeting intermediate and final deadlines
  • Develop pink team reviews for internal review and evaluation
  • Direct the Proposal Coordinator in all proposal development
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree
  • 5 – 8 years relevant experience in business development supporting DoD is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Initiative, intelligence, positive attitude and work ethic are highly valued
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of federal government and the solicitation process
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
  • PC literacy required; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
